Scuba diving provides a range of physical and mental benefits, including improved cardiovascular health, increased strength and flexibility, stress relief, and an opportunity to connect with nature.
Yes! Scuba diving is a safe and thrilling activity when practiced correctly. All our instructors are PADI certified, and we ensure that safety is a priority in every class. We also provide thorough safety training as part of each course, and we always dive with a buddy system to enhance safety.
No experience is necessary to get started! Our PADI Discover Scuba Diving program is designed for beginners, introducing you to the basics of scuba diving. If you want to continue your education, we offer courses like the PADI Open Water Diver that will certify you to dive anywhere in the world.
The minimum age to start scuba diving is 10 years old for the PADI Open Water Diver course. Younger divers can start with the PADI Junior Open Water Diver course, which is tailored to suit their needs.
The length of time for certification varies depending on the course. The PADI Open Water Diver course usually takes 3-4 days to complete, while other courses like the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver can be completed in 2-3 days. Our schedule is flexible to accommodate your pace.
Getting certified as a PADI diver is a simple and rewarding process, broken down into three key phases:
Once you’ve successfully completed all three phases, you’ll be awarded your PADI Open Water Diver certification, allowing you to dive anywhere in the world to a depth of 60 feet (18 meters).
No, you can buy the eLearning from Def14nt Divers. Our prices already include the the cost of eLearning, so we've got that covered for you.
For all Beginner and Advanced courses (with the exception of Rescue Diver, which requires purchasing a rescue mask), all rental gear and air cylinders are already included in the cost of the class. Some additional gear may be required for Specialty certifications and Professional level courses.
While being a good swimmer can help, you don't need to be an expert swimmer to learn to dive. However, we do require that you can swim 200 meters (656 feet) and float or tread water for 10 minutes as part of the PADI Open Water Diver course.
Before starting any diving course, we ask you to complete a medical questionnaire. If you have any medical conditions (such as asthma, heart problems, or other concerns), you may need a doctor’s approval to dive. Your safety is our top priority, so please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about medical requirements.
